San Diego Rural Fire Protection District has a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)!  Citizens can be trained in basic skills to help their families, neighbors, and their communities survive during a disaster until professional help can get there. The San Diego Rural CERT program covers the communities of Barrett Junction, Dulzura, Jamul, Harbison Canyon, Dehesa, Carveacre, Japatul Valley, and Descanso.
